Many of the angriest men you encounter are actually just depressed, afraid, or heartbroken.
It feels like taking control to express these "weaker" emotions as rage. Our society shows more respect for a man with his fists balled up than one who admits to being profoundly disappointed, or hurt, or sad.
Just safer to cloak your injured heart in a suit of anger. At least you LOOK strong, right?...
