I'm trying the Weekly Character Design Challenge again... except now it's monthly, I guess? So the point is they give you five random shapes (above) and you create five head shots. Then you choose one and develop a turn around, then a full character. Because I'm not good at choosing, I'm letting YOU choose which one of the five characters below I will take to the next step:

My yard is full of dandelions, and since we are selling the house, I have no intention of going to war with weeds. It's funny... as much as adults hate dandelions, kids love them. The name always made me think of a lion in a tuxedo... so since I'm a big kid at heart, I drew the sketch above. I liked it, so I decided to smash out the full body piece below....

"The Brother" returns...

If you're one of the people who got all excited about the commissioned piece I did of Jay Kelley's creation The Brother, you'll be glad to see these sketches. Jay was impressed by all the folks asking for a comic book featuring the dapper time traveler, and he started working on some scripts, and asked me to work with him on it...  Meanwhile, he commissioned me to do a hero shot type pinup of the character in action, so I started sketching...
