ArtLoveMagic is presenting a special celebration, dedicated to families, this Father's Day Eve. The event is only $5 to attend and features over a dozen area artists, musicians, and poets hanging out and performing in a fun casual environment. There will be interactive art, live music, live pottery and painting, and performances of poetry.

This will be a positive and inspiring experience that audience members of all ages can enjoy. If you'd like to attend, you can prebuy tickets for only $5 a piece at artlovemagic.com, or show up at the door and buy them for $8.

Presale tickets are availble only until Thursday evening. This event is in the Addison area at the Egg and I Restaurant (Monfort and Arapaho), 15203 Knoll Trail Dr, Dallas, TX 75248

Art and Music are not the only things on the menu...The Egg and I will present a $5 buffet available on site. Trust me- you'll want to try it.

Their food rocks and breakfast for dinner is cool. That's $10 for the event AND dinner. Can't be beat.

Artists and performers will have work for sale so bring some extra cash if you'd like to go home with an original piece of art or a print. I'll have books magazines and some original stuff too. so come hang out with me and my family and celebrate Father's Day weekend!

ArtLoveMagic Luh Da Kids!

you know I love kids... it has only gotten worse (or is that better?) since i had one of my own. so when my boy Mike asked me to participate in the Arts Workshop he had set up for this past Saturday, i was ALL over it! the event was at the Deep Ellum Community Center in downtown Dallas, so i saddled-up rolled out. even though i had to be there at the ghastly hour of 8:30 am (yes, freelancing from home has spoiled me) i was actually on-time and ready to rock! and rock it did! Mike and I did a drawing demonstation, but there were painters, a potter and graf artists in the house sharing the love of the art with these kids, who were mad eager to learn and show what they could do as well!

it's very rewarding to get a chance to touch somebody's life, especially kids. Artists are so seldom seen as valuable for teaching kids not only about art but also about life in general, but that's what makes artLoveMagic cool, 'cause that's what we do. i encourage artists to look for opportunities large or small to teach what they do.

new Champion of Children story in the works!

greetings, Family! hope everyone's doing well... i think this is a good time to announce that i'm working on a NEW Champion of Children story! i wrote it a long time ago, but always wanted to collab with other people on it. having given up on that, i finally mustered up enough energy to draw it myself! i'm not sure how long it will be, so we'll see... but i have broken down the first five pages, and i'm feeling good about it!

it will star the Champ, (seen here) with her whole fam, (Big Madd Skillz, Junior Raw, and 2 Raw), and cameos by every major Champ hero and villain! Plus, a special guest that might just earn me a lawsuit! anyways, 'till then, enjoy the fresh pic!
